Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos are the Super Bowl 50 champions after pulling out an unstoppable defensive performance to take down Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers. Super Bowl 50 was filled with a lot of different emotions. Whether you look forward to the game, commercials, or the halftime show, there were many aspects that made Super Bowl 50 one to remember. Here is what to take away from Super Bowl 50:

The halftime show was an epic hit. The headline group, Coldplay, was joined by guests Beyoncé and Bruno Mars in the Super Bowl halftime show. Both being Super Bowl halftime show veterans, Beyoncé and Mars took over the stage. Coldplay started out with their big hit, “Viva La Vida”. While lead singer Chris Martin started singing, a beautiful sun was painted across the stadium with a colorful card stunt. “Viva La Vida” was then followed by more hits by Coldplay, along with more colorful dancers and props. Mars hit the stage with his dancers to sing his smash hit song “Uptown Funk”. His undeniable charm struck the crowd with excitement, but that was just the beginning. The one and only Queen Bey (Beyoncé) strutted across the field adding to the electric performance. The show concluded with everyone singing “Up & Up” while the Levi’s Stadium crowd held up colorful cards that spelled out “Believe in love”. Throughout the last number, clips of past halftime show performances came across the screen. I personally enjoyed the half time show a lot. I think it will be one that stands out amongst others for sure.

Super Bowl 50’s worst call.
The Carolina Panthers did not have great luck when it came to the worst calls of the game. It all started with a throw from Cam Newton to Jerricho Cotchery, who bobbled the pass on his way down. The ball never appeared to hit the ground. However, the refs ruled it as an incomplete pass. The Panthers instantly challenged the call but ended up being upheld. This call was talked and debated over Twitter the whole evening.

The best of the Super Bowl 50 commercials. Hyundai and Doritos set the bar very high with their humorous commercials. Both had two ads that which most viewers said were their favorites.  The Hyundai commercials, stared comedian Kevin Hart and actor Ryan Reynolds. The Doritos commercial contained one with dogs and one around an ultrasound. Of course there were other funny commercials, but these two companies were the ones that stood out amongst the others.
Overall, Super Bowl 50 was definitely one to remember. Even though Carolina did not claim this super bowl victory, congratulations to the Denver Broncos on their win!
