Tired of emptying your pockets on store bought Halloween costumes? Well you are in luck. Here are some homemade Halloween costume ideas that are not only affordable but also creative.  Many of these outfits can be either done individually, with a partner, or with a group. These pictures range from outfits you can put together in minutes to projects that only costumers seeking a challenge will be brave enough to tackle.

M&M’s
This costume is for those of you who need last minute ideas. You could do this with a group or you can do it by yourself. To complete this costume you will need:
  • T-shirt color of your choice
  • An iron on “m” logo (could also find a template and paint the logo on with white fabric paint)
  • Black solid colored pants
  • Accessories that match with your t-shirt (optional)

Crayola Crayons
What you will need:
  • A solid colored t-shirt
  • A cone shaped party hat
  • Spray paint that matches your color
  • Black Felt
  • Felt the color of your t-shirt
  • Fabric glue
Steps:
  1. Take the black fabric and cut out two rectangles the width of the shirt. Cut your rectangle in half, lengthwise with a squiggle. Glue to the top and bottom leaving a space between the cut rectangles so you can see some color showing through (see picture above).
  2. Cut out a BIG black oval to glue to the front of the Crayon.
Then cut out the letters C-R-A-Y-O-L-A in the colored felt and glue them onto the black oval.
