            After two years of marriage, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are getting a divorce. In August 2014, the happy couple was officially married in a private ceremony at a French chateau. They were together since 2004 and were both in their first movie together Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2007. The movie is about a happily-married couple who are both secretly rival assassins-now how about that as a couple? Later during the making of this film, there were speculations that Brad Pitt divorced Jennifer Aniston so he can be with Angelina Jolie. After their marriage in 2014, they both starred in a film called By the Sea, directed by Angelina Jolie. This is about a couple trying to repair their marriage while staying at a hotel in France during the 1970s, another Angelina and Pitt movie about marriage. Angelina said, "I'm counting on the audience to know that if it was close to us at all we could never make this film," Jolie said. “It’s because we are actually very, very stable and these aren't our issues.” But if they were happy in 2015, why did their relationship go bad this year?

         The alleged reason is because Brad Pitt was having an affair with award-winning actress Marion Cotillard. Pitt and Cotillard were starring in a movie together called Allied, which is about an intelligence officer in North Africa who encounters a female French resistance fighter during WW2. Angelina hired a private investigator to keep an eye on him when Pitt and Cotillard are on set together. She felt the need to do this because she was getting the feeling that Pitt was fooling around with Cotillard on the set, which turned out to be true.
           After two years and one month of marriage in August 2014, the court announced that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were separated on Sept 15. Now Angelina is fighting for full custody of the six children, three of them are adopted. She feels that her kids are not safe with Pitt because of his partying and arguments. Jolie believes that Pitt has been doing heavy drinking and smoking marijuana. Jolie is allowing Pitt to have visitations to see his kids. After all of this mess, what does Marion Cotillard have to say about this? Cotillard denied the Pitt affair rumors and insisted she is still with her long-term partner, French actor and director Guillaume Canet. In conclusion, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie romantic life for twelve years has come to an end. What will happen to them now?
