Congratulations to Bethany Osborn, Gracie Williams, and Amanda Marrott for placing second in the state FCCLA competition at Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte last Friday. They brought home a grand total of $18,000 in scholarships.
There is a mandatory National Technical Honor Society meeting on Mon. 2/13 at 2:30 PM in the cafeteria. We will discuss the induction ceremony and our spring pet supply drive.
History Club will be having a Black History Month themed meeting Mon. 2/13 after school in Pod G. Members and nonmembers are welcome to come!

Mr. Tullis is holding a kickoff interest meeting for Future Business Leaders of America on Thurs. 2/16 at 2:40 PM in room 124. Mr. Tullis is excited about the opportunity to showcase Apex High School's best in FBLA.
Congratulations to the following wrestlers who qualified for the State Championship: Kaleb Williams, Gabe Baragona, Joey McMahon, and Connor Castagnero. They will compete on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the Greensboro Coliseum.
All boys interested in trying out for the golf team report to MacGregor Downs on Tues., 2/14 at 3:00 PM. You need to be sure to have a physical on file before you try out.

Support Apex High School by going to Chipotle on Tues. 2/21 from 5:00 Pm to 9:00 PM. Tell the cashier you're supporting AHS to make sure that 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the school.
The ACT will be administered to all current 11th graders on Tues. 2/28. On test day, students will need to bring: number 2 pencils with good erasers (no mechanical pencils or pens), a permitted calculator, and an acceptable photo ID (any Junior needing a school ID can have one made in the main office).
